Call For Entries Now Open!

Submissions are now open for the 33rd annual Palm Beach Jewish Film Festival (PBJFF).

Rules & Terms

1.  All films should have strong Jewish content, entertain and educate on Jewish themes, history, traditions, lifestyle, spirituality, arts or culture. Films can range from comedic to dramatic, features, shorts, documentaries and animation.

*NOTE: Films MUST have Jewish content. ALL FILMS WITH NO JEWISH CONTENT WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY DECLINED.

2.  All films must be made in 2020 or later and cannot have screened in the Palm Beach County area beforehand, cannot have aired on network television in the United States, and is not available online or VOD to be eligible.

Awards & Prizes

Prizes are not monetary. Audience Awards are given for Best Narrative Feature, Best Documentary Feature, Best Animated Film, Best Student Film, and Best Short Film. Films are selected by the audience. Winners are notified. Names of winners are also posted on the film festival website: www.PBJFF.org.

Winning films may be asked back to be featured in an encore series.


Update Regarding COVID-19

Exact dates and exhibition details for next year's Palm Beach Jewish Film Festival are still in development due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. A hybrid format that includes in-theater and virtual screenings is anticipated, modeled to ensure both the highest exhibition standards as well as the safety of audiences. Please advise as to any special terms or conditions pertaining to participation in a hybrid edition of the 33rd annual Palm Beach Jewish Film Festival in January 2023.
