The Mandel Jewish Community Center of the Palm Beaches is seeking a Lifeguard & Water Safety Instructor. Primary responsibilities include supervision of members and guests, swim lesson development and execution, cleaning, policy enforcement, program and event set up/break down and various other duties associated with the aquatic complex operations.

Marketing Website Administrator & Coordinator/Development Associate

Position Summary:

The marketing administrator and coordinator position is responsible for managing all communication through the Agency via the website. The responsibilities include but are not limited to managing the structure and content of the website, maintaining web content and graphic standards, managing web projects, prioritizing and communicating requests to ensure web presence needs are effectively and consistently met. Evaluates effectiveness, usability, and accessibility of the website; monitoring and assessing website metrics to improve site performance; facilitates ongoing maintenance and optimization of all web properties.

The Development Associate position is responsible for fostering a culture of philanthropy within the organization and broader community. Responsibilities include assuring that the organization’s corporate culture, systems and procedures support fund development and vice versa. Works in collaboration with the Director of Development to plan, coordinate and assure implementation of strategies to develop donors and contributions to support the organization. Assists in the development and maintenance of appropriate systems to fund development including, but not limited to: volunteer and donor management, research and cultivation, gift processing and recognition. Maintains accountability and compliance standards for donors and funding sources.

Palm Beach Gardens Open Positions


Early Childhood Educator

Early Childhood Educators play a key role, setting the tone by valuing each child and family as individuals. They have the educational qualifications, dispositions, knowledge, dedication to learning, and professional commitment necessary to promote children and their families as they learn and develop. Educators work together with their team to develop, implement, and evaluate the classroom pedagogy, to provide a quality educational program reflecting the goals and values of the school. Educators monitor the development and learning of the children and partner with families in sharing this information. Educators supervise and provide guidance to substitutes and classroom volunteers. Work is supervised on a limited basis, as necessary. Work schedule is generally, 40 hours a week, 5 days a week Monday Friday with occasional evening or weekend work as dictated by work schedule.

Lifeguard & Water Safety Instructor

This position's primary responsibility is to ensure safety to prevent accidents, create a safe, positive learning environment for swim instruction for all age groups in and around the JCC aquatic complex. Duties include but are not limited to, supervision of members and guests, swim lesson development and execution, cleaning, policy enforcement, program and event set up/break down and various other duties associated with the aquatic complex operations. This position has daily, frequent contact with the public and requires the ability to interact with the public in a professional, friendly, positive and tactful manner at all times.Work is supervised on a limited basis as necessary.Work schedule is part-time and hours vary Sunday through Saturday with evening and weekend work as dictated by work schedule and agency programs.
