Robert Watson, Ph.D. is a professor, author, historian, and media commentator who has published a few hundred scholarly articles and over 40 books, several of which have won awards and been featured at literary festivals and on C-SPAN's Book TV. His recent books include Affairs of State, The Nazi Titanic, The Ghost Ship of Brooklyn, and the forthcoming titles George Washington's Final Battle and The Great Escape. Watson has convened numerous national conferences on the presidency and has served as a visiting scholar or fellow with many organizations, including the Pentagon, West Point, Smithsonian Institution, George Washington's Mount Vernon, James Madison's Montpelier, the Museum of the American Revolution, Fraunces Tavern Museum, the Illinois Holocaust Museum, and more. He holds the title Distinguished Professor of American History at Lynn University, where he also directs Project Civitas.
