Author and Grammy Nominated Artist Alexandra Silber Headlines Mandel JCC's 23rd Annual Signature Book Festival Luncheon

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (November X, 2017) – More than 250 guests gathered for the Mandel JCC's 23rd Annual Signature Book Festival Luncheon featuring noted author and Grammy-nominated actress, Alexandra Silber. The literary event, held Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts in West Palm Beach, was co-chaired by Sheila Englestein and Zelda Mason.

“We are incredibly proud to present another year of exciting literary events, aimed at celebrating our rich Jewish culture.” shared Zelda Mason, Book Festival Co-Chair. “Silber kicked off the season in a fantastic manner, and we are thrilled for what’s to come.”

The luncheon featured a thought-provoking discussion, mesmerizing performance and theatrical readings by Alexandra Silber, Grammy- nominated Broadway Star and author of After Anatevka. Guests were treated to Silber's thoughts on her debut book, a sweeping historical novel that imagines the lives of the characters of Fiddler on the Roof after the curtain falls.

The Mandel JCC’s Annual Book Festival brings award-winning authors from all over the world to Palm Beach County to discuss their latest works at both Mandel JCC locations in Palm Beach Gardens and Boynton Beach, as well as venues around the county.
