Event Details
Description
Reminisce, wonder, learn and laugh on this journey back to the 1970s. Employed as a C.E.T.A. photographer (Comprehensive Employment Training Act AKA "The W.P.A. of the '70s) for the American Jewish Congress, Meryl Meisler created a photographic archive of Jewish New York. Simultaneously, she photographed her own Jewish family and friends in Long Island and documented their migration as "snowbirds" or new retiree residents of South Florida. Many of the images in this Zoom discussion have never been shown before. Chances are you will know someone, who knows someone, who knows someone in the photos.
This event is included for Hamsa, Chaverim, Star Arts, Cinema Circle and Publisher membership levels.
