Description

In the 19th century Peter, a young man from a devout Christian family travels to Copenhagen to study engineering, rebelling against his clergyman father. He encounters a wealthy Jewish family and seduces the elder daughter. He conceives a large-scale engineering project and lobbies for its construction. But his pride gets in his way as he is about to make his dream come true.
