About Us

The Palm Beach Jewish Film Festival strives to bring the finest examples of cinema from around the world to South Florida. The chosen films are as diverse as our community and explore the complexity of Jewish life and identity. Founded in 1990, the Festival continues to grow and evolve as we continue to expand our selection of narrative features, short films, and documentaries to reflect the interests of our audience. Since October 7, our community has grappled with collective grief, but we have also cultivated hope and unity. This year, with Israel in our hearts, we have selected films that document Jewish history, celebrate the intricate tapestry of the Jewish experience, and honor the resilience of the Jewish people. In the spirit of tikkun olam, we continue to offer films which allow the opportunity to nurture optimism and foster levity in challenging times. Am Yisrael Chai.

The mission of The Mandel JCC of the Palm Beaches is to build community and enhance connection to Jewish life. The organization focuses on healthy living, high quality Jewish cultural arts, connecting people to Israel and reaching out the broader community. Our programs include an award winning early childhood learning center, after care program, summer camp, fitness classes, personal training, sports leagues, bridge, aquatics, enrichment classes and special events for adults, youth and families.
