Mandel JCC Partners With Local Organizations to Provide COVID-19 Testing

NORTH PALM BEACH, FL - As the impact of COVID-19 continues to surge, thousands are in distress about testing sites. Three local organizations have come together to open their facilities as COVID-19 testing sites while also distributing at-home tests to help ease the backlog in the community.

The Mandel JCC of the Palm Beaches' Palm Beach Gardens location; the new Chabad of Jupiter on University Boulevard; and the Jewish Community Synagogue in North Palm Beach will all host a COVID-19 testing site outside of their facilities. They will also be distributing thousands of at-home tests.

With an immeasurable number of people looking to protect others from getting sick and a short supply of test kits, these three organizations collectively recognized the need to care for their community and took action to make it happen.

"When we sent out the notice, our phone didn't stop ringing," said Rabbi Leib Ezagui of the Jewish Community Synagogue. "People are so desperate to get tested that when we were able to organize this arrangement, they were so grateful! We hope to continue having the on-site and at-home test kits available as long as there is a need."

To make everyone's experience smooth and efficient, appointment times are available throughout the day.

Pre-registration for an appointment will streamline the process and offer people the best, fastest experience. Walk-ins will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis, dependent on space available, from 10 am - 6 pm.

Each testing site will offer PCR testing, rapid antigen testing, and a limited supply of at-home test kits. Testing is free if you do not have insurance. You must bring a valid ID.
